Its been a long time (well it feels that way for us) but the season is opening for these delicious critters this Sunday 15th November.

Bag limit are 6 per person and 12 per boat.

Lobsters may not be speared whilst diving for them and the middle tail must be clipped soon after capture.

Congratulations to Joe on his recent re-election to the RECFISH WA board. Joe’s contribution and effort is greatly appreciated by all WA Spearfisherman and his representation of the Spearfishing minority is invaluable to our sport and its future in WA.

Abalone season opens

Abalone season has opened on 1st November for the West Coast zone and runs untill 6th December.

Best places to try for these guys are shallow reefs where the ocean breaks.

Bens BBQ Moroccan Fish

FV-080430-Francis'+Western+Food+(16)10 cloves crushed Garlic
1 teaspoon Paprika
1 teaspoon ground Cumin
2 teaspoon salt
6 pinches Cayenne Pepper
8 tablespoons Olive Oil
4 tablespoons Lemon Juice
2 tablespoons fresh Coriander
4 tablespoons fresh Parsley

Mix together and marinade for an hour.
